About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Healthcare Project Manager to lead and manage a wide variety of healthcare projects within our organization. As a Healthcare Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, including hospital construction, supply vendor transitions, healthcare outcomes improvements, and technology implementations. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to manage multiple teams and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination and Management:
    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of healthcare projects, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure.
    • Create and manage and end-to-end project life cycle from conception to delivery.
    • Anticipate and mitigate risks, solve problems as they arise, and ensure projects stay on track within budget.
    • Understand Healthcare Practice Management systems such as eCW, NextGen, EPIC, and other EMR/Practice Management software.
    • Identify root cause of problem to engage correct teams and resources.
    • Monitor project budgets and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and ensure financial constraints are met.
    • Coordinate and Clarify to drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in project management within healthcare settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Healthcare Practice Management systems (eCW, NextGen, EPIC, etc.) and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians, administrators, and external stakeholders.
  • PMP certification or similar project management certification is a plus.
